How the firm handles information collected through this website, by telephone, by text message and by email.
This Privacy Policy explains how KVasquez Law, PLLC ("KVasquez Law," "the firm," "we" or "us") handles information collected through kvasquezlaw.com, by telephone, by text message and by email. The firm is a Florida professional limited liability company with its office at 1200 Brickell Avenue, Suite 1950, Miami, Florida 33131, by appointment only.

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site, book a consultation, call the office, send an email or send a text message, we collect what you provide. That typically includes your name, telephone number, email address, company name where relevant, the state your matter is in, and the description of your situation that you choose to share. On intake questionnaires it may also include financial, tax or estate information you enter.
Scheduling information. Consultations are booked through a third-party scheduling provider. When you book, that provider collects your name, email address, the time you selected, your time zone and your answers to the booking questions, and makes them available to the firm.
Telephone and text message information. The firm's telephone and business texting service records call and message metadata such as the number calling, the time and the duration, and stores the content of text messages exchanged with the firm. If call recording or automated transcription is enabled, calls are recorded only with the consent of all parties and a recorded notice is played at the start of the call.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, the pages you view and the time of your visit. We also use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags, described below.
We use the information to respond to your inquiry, run a conflict-of-interest check, schedule and conduct consultations, provide legal services where an engagement is signed, send appointment reminders and case updates, keep required records, operate and secure the website, measure which advertising and search terms produce consultations, and comply with professional and legal obligations.
We do not sell information, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not use the content of your inquiry to market unrelated products or services.
This site uses cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how visitors find and use the site.
Google Analytics gives us aggregate statistics about site usage. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Ads conversion tracking tells us which advertisements and search terms led to a telephone call, a form submission or a booked consultation. Google Ads remarketing may show you our advertisements on other websites after you visit this one. You can control personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party advertising cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings, and let you send a Do Not Track signal. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to contact the firm by telephone, email or form.
Please read this section before sending anything sensitive. Submitting a form, booking a consultation, sending an email or sending a text message does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send before the firm has cleared a conflict-of-interest check and signed an engagement letter may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
Send only what is needed to describe your situation at a general level. Do not send confidential documents, account numbers, government identification numbers or detailed facts until we have confirmed there is no conflict of interest. Text messages in particular are not a secure channel and should never be used to send confidential or privileged information.
Inquiries that do not become engagements are retained for the period needed to run and document conflict checks and to meet the firm's record-keeping obligations, and are then deleted. Client files are retained for the period required by the applicable rules of professional conduct and by law, and are then destroyed. Website analytics data is retained according to the retention setting configured in Google Analytics. Text message records are retained for the period needed to document the engagement and to evidence consent.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to firm email, documents, telephone records and text message records is restricted to Karina A. Vasquez, Esq. and, where necessary, to service providers bound to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send over the internet or by text message.
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to legal@kvasquezlaw.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to retain information where a legal, professional or record-keeping obligation requires it, and we will tell you if that is the case.
You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of telephone calls or email about your matter. You may ask us to stop contacting you entirely at any time.
This website is directed to adults seeking legal services for themselves or their businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, write to legal@kvasquezlaw.com and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the firm's practices, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
