General Counsel role. Karina serves as General Counsel to an operating company. That role is independent from her practice at KVasquez Law. Matters handled in that capacity are not handled through the firm and are subject to separate engagement and confidentiality terms. The role does not affect the firm's representation of unrelated clients.
Real estate licensure. Karina is a licensed Florida real estate agent (REALTOR®) affiliated with Avanti Way Realty in Doral, Florida. Real estate brokerage activity is conducted independently from the practice of law, is not legal services, and is not covered by the firm's engagement agreements. No client is required to use her brokerage services, and no brokerage client is required to engage the firm.
Referrals. The firm does not pay any fee or give anything of value to a non-lawyer in exchange for recommending the firm's services, consistent with Rules 4-5.4 and 4-7.22.
